Gujarat is a land of great contrasts, stretching from the salt deserts of the Kutch district in the northwest, across scrublands of Saurashtra Peninsula rising from the coasts to rolling hills in the center, where the state reaches its highest elevation, at 3,665 feet (1,117 meters), in the Girnar Hills. To the east of Saurashtra, small plains and hills, tribal areas of Panchamahal in the north merge with fertile farmlands in the south. The richness of the central and southern Gujarat is attributable to Sabarmati, Mahi, Vatrak, Vishwamitri, Narmada, and Tapti (Tapi) rivers to name a few.

Gujarat is a land of the Entrepreneurs and Patriots, Unity and Peace, Saints and Sacrifices and a Pious Land Somnath, Dwarka, Pavagagh, Palitana, Dakor and countless other places where people get inspired to live a better life. Nowhere else in the world you will find a better harmony between man and nature than in the Gir Forest - the Land of the Gir Lions.

At GAMT, Our goal is to continue to preserve our rich tradition and heritage by strengthening and promoting our culture and festivals. Through these events, the community’s values will be preserved and opportunities will be offered to interact socially and casually. Our highlight of events is Navaratri Garbas. Garbas (The folklore dance with prayers) bring the whole community together along with children, seniors, and non-members. Let us keep up our great tradition and make each Garba season memorable.
